Happy New Year!

I couldn’t be more excited to start of the year with a Quarter Turn that can absolutely start you on the right path to achieving at your highest level this year.

The first week in the New Year is a great time to start gaining clarity and focus on what you plan to bring into your life. One way to accomplish this is to create a vision for yourself and everything you plan to step into this year.

Think about what you want your life to look 12 months from now.

Maybe you are ready for that new job or a promotion from your current role. What does that look like? What are the steps you plan to take to move in that direction?

Are you ready to enter into a new fulfilling relationship? Or maybe you are ready to engage in your current relationship at a much higher level. What would that look like? What are the steps you can take this week and this month to make that happen?

Do you want to finally start that new business or create an on-line course? What is your expertise and who could benefit from it? How are you going to start the process? What do you already have in place that you can expand upon?

Is this the year you finally complete that book or novel you’ve been thinking about? Fiction? Non-Fiction? What’s it about? How much time can you commit to working on it each week? Who can you enlist to help you on your journey?

Here’s what we know. People that accomplish the most, have the most, do the most, are usually those people that have extreme clarity on what they want and a vision of how things will look once they’ve accomplished it.

Sadly, from my experience, very few people ever take the time to think about or decide what they want to bring into their lives. There is no vision, and no clarity and since our brains are constantly in motion and searching for a destination point, people tend to focus not on what they truly want, but what they don’t want.

Our brains are like a high-powered machine that does exactly what it’s told to do. Focus on the wrong outcomes and your brain takes you there. Focus on the right outcomes and guess what? I think you get the picture- your brain will take you there. Your only job is to program in the RIGHT co-ordinance into your high-powered thinking machine and let it do the rest.

What we focus our attention on grows. If you focus on income and wealth, it will grow. If you focus on your most important relationship, it grows. If you focus on personal or professional development, you will grow. Clarity, Focus, Vision is the starting point if you plan to perform at your highest levels.

So I will ask you again. What is the vision you have for your professional life this year?

What is the Vision you have for your personal life?

Give yourself time to sit with it and think about what that looks like. I’ve heard that most people will spend more time planning a vacation than they will planning their lives. Do yourself a favor and give your business and your life the focus and attention it deserves.

The New Year is a time for new beginnings, start today with your endgame in mind and create a vision for yourself this week.
