There’s a great quote that simply states:

“We are all the sum of the people with whom we choose to surround ourselves.”

Think about all the people you surround yourself with on a consistent basis, the people you spend most of your time with. Now ask yourself:

Do they inspire me? Do they motivate me to want to do better? Do they want me to achieve at the highest levels?

Or do they drag me down with content negativity and constant nay saying.

The interesting thing about this is our own personal level of success is directly impacted by those people we choose to surround ourselves with.

It’s kind of important that we choose wisely and surround ourselves with those people that help us get to where we want to go. These are the people that energize us, support us and challenge us to do more and be more than we think we can be. How many of those people are currently surrounding you in your life? How would your life look if you had a few more of them?

Now let’s talk about those other types of people. The nay-sayers and the non-believers, they are just like those sandbags on a balloon. At some point you get to cut them loose so you can soar to new heights. This doesn’t mean you can’t ever interact with them again. It just means if you want to get a different outcome in your life, then you have to do some things a bit differently in order to achieve them.

If they really care about you and want to be included in your life, then they will understand and get back on board at the appropriate time. If they aren’t on board with the new and improved version of YOU, then do you really want them around anyway?

When it comes to those you choose to surround yourself with, make sure you choose wisely. Your highest level of achievement depends on it.

Until next time-

Cheers to you and your continued success, and to making the right choices.

The people you surround yourself with are an extension of your energy, your beliefs, and your goals. It’s ok to be selective. – Unknown
