How do you measure up in the perceptions of your staff?*My staff sees me as a leader they can trust. They look to me as a resource.My staff’s perception of me isn’t reality. They sometimes see me as guarded. I need to work on how to better connect with them.We don’t have anything formal set in place for feedback like that. I think my staff knows that I work hard and am a resource for the team.Are you familiar with your strengths and weaknesses?*I know I have strengths and weaknesses, and I realize it’s important to be honest about them in order to be more successful.I think I need help identifying my weak points.I know it’s important, but right now I need to focus on work, rather than look inward to how I’m doing.Imagine this: You’re working with a coach and it isn’t what you expected it would be like.
